Listen, absolute great place. Professional reps/workers. I dealt with Mack, Homeric guy down to earth and very knowledgeable. Wouldnt change to another dealer for anything. This is the place to go. Mack stayed in contact with me helped me out a lot. Broke down the features better than a commercial would. Great guy, great facility. Everyone is welcoming and professional.

Excellent dealer! after much research shopping around for my first bike. Bought a 2019 Triumph Street Twin from Maximum. From the moment I stepped thru their doors to agreement on price and riding off the lot. it was a no hassle, no up selling, stress free transaction. I recently purchased a new Kawasaki Mule SX 4x4 from the Riverhead Maximum Motor Sports store. The whole buying was very good! I had shopped around at other similar type outlets but I purchased at Maximum because the sales staff and other personnel seemed friendlier, more helpful and not pushy! The salesman Ralph and manager John were great to deal with. A special shout out to Mike the service rep that delivered the Mule to my house..he was very patient , knowledgeable in demonstrating the vehicle and answering all of my questions! I recently purchased a 2019 Suzuki Boulevard from Maximum Motor Sports. First I have to say I have not had a better experience with any other dealership, period. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating. Melody was very helpful and professional in helping to select and finance my bike. When you return to a dealer after the point of sale or for your first servicing, that is when you find out how good a dealership really is. They did not disappoint. As a rider of many years and as a professional mechanic, I can truthfully say; in the world of motorcycle sales and service, Maximum Motor Sports is a shining star. I would not hesitate to purchase another motorcycle there and I would highly recommend them .

Purchased a 2019 YZ250F and the staff was great. Sales staff is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the vehicles on-site. Sales, finance and service staff are extremely pleasant to work with. Recently, I had been by to visit the dealership for parts and service for my old bikes.
That day, Nathan kindly took in yet another of my projects and got me promptly set up for the repairs; I am always grateful for his professionalism and help. As of late, I've also been working directly with Ryan from the service department and the experience has always been no less than wonderful. I really appreciate his kindness and being able to coordinate my projects for me.
John, the master technician, ably handles what for me are small but critical operations. For him these are techniques he carries out with mastery. Despite what may be a routine job to him (but not to me!), Ive found that he treats every project with the same importance and care as every other. -And I appreciate that!
Then theres always a stop by the tremendously helpful and always patient parts/service people: Kevin, Alicia and the newest talent, Trish, who I suspect is already an asset and rounds out a really talented group of people in that department.
Finally, I do my best to say hello to everyone that are around in the sales showroom: Matt, Scott, John, Melody and of course, Ralph! Whether I am purchasing or not, I am always treated with friendliness and professionalism.
Its always a joy to interact with you all and thank you again for helping a guy out with a simple dream!

Brought my GSX-R 750 in because it was having all sorts of issues. I Explained to the staff member what issues I was having and he promptly knew was the cause was. The bike was brought in around 9am and I was fully finished by 4:30 giving me enough time to enjoy the beautiful day out. I was expecting them to upsell me on needless things and they never did. Bike runs like it did on the first day of purchase. Extremely satisfied with my service here and impressed by the friendly staff!

Dear Maximum Motorsports owners,
I want to say thank goodness for you and all there at "the shop"!
I've lived in the region for 19 years; and it's only been recently that I've spent time at Maximum Motorsports. As they say, "better late than never"! You all have a wonderful place there (it also has really "good energy").I've been there many times now, both to order parts, and to obtain professional, highly-skilled assistance from all the friendly people there. My interactions today (twice!) both in the morning (and late in the evening as I drove home tired, from work), were no exception to what I experience upon every visit:First, it's been a true pleasure to work with Chris. He has always been very kind, whether patiently taking my phones calls (probably during the busiest of days) or interacting with him in person, certainly!
He's always a great help and is ever-reassuring: "there he is, assisting this older guy working on old bikes"; with him and other very special people, these great folks at "Maximum" are helping to transform this guy's dreams into reality!
I've never been discouraged, even for the seemingly smallest concern and project and always been greeted with a smile and kind word from Chris. None of my projects have yet been turned away and have always been taken on. He (and I suspect working with John today, who's the most amazingly- talented, wonderful, top technician that I've ever met ) worked together on what to me today was a big problem... and made small work of it. Now I'm back in business with new hopes for old motorcycles that no one has loved in a long time.
(My mission is to restore these engines and frames and bring them back the respect they deserve, as beautiful, viable motorcycles. Each bike is being carefully, lovingly restored and rebuilt for "the riders" in my family- as a gift to the people that I love)
Kevin has the patience-of-a-saint and listens to my longwinded stories, while simultaneously being able to source what often seem to me to be the rarest of parts for such old bikes. He has shared in my excitement and has never disappointed me. He's a brilliant detective....and he doesn't give up when the odds are not good of finding the part that I need.
Ms Alicia has always been wonderful to help me out, especially when carefully gathering together my disparate orders; she is certainly a valuable asset to the team and I always appreciate seeing her.
Scott, John (sales) and Melody- always a true pleasure to talk with them and I always get an extra feeling of being welcome when I arrive! So, what's that worth these days? A lot. I look forward to buying a new, modern bike with their assistance some time from now- and I could never think of going anywhere else!

-And now back to John: what a talented and amazing technician he is! To him, no job is too difficult and conversely, no job is too simple or insignificant. From what I witness, he takes each challenge on with professionalism and grace and a determination on my behalf (and that I've always hoped for) and I really, really appreciate that.
I've been to many Yamaha dealerships in my life and dealt with all kinds of people- Lord knows I hope to think I'm good to people, but they've not always been so good to me. Most all those dealerships had absolutely no interest in my projects over these years (they probably saw no money in it and/or didn't want to exert efforts) and none thought to realize that they were only adding to my feeling of defeat; no one cared!...But...not the folks at "Maximum"!
That said, there's never been a time when I've gone to Maximum Motorsports and not been treated with respect. Every interaction is professional and I'm always treated kindly, even with regard to the smallest of transactions. That means a lot to me!
Once I'm done with these "projects of a lifetime" I suspect that this won't be the end. Why? It's because I have the confidence knowing that have a support team of caring people that will help me achieve my goals! In general, youll find me so much happier lately; much of that feeling is derived from knowing that I can engage in my projects with the knowledge that everything is possible, knowing that great people are there to help me.

Allow me to preface further remarks by stating that the maximum 5 star rating system provided by Google is woefully inadequate to express the level of excellence that I had the pleasure of experiencing at Maximum Motorsports. Ive been riding for quite some time, on road, off road, and everywhere in between. As such, I have ridden various types of bikes and purchased them from various dealers, ever in search of a place that I could call home. Regardless of where that journey began, it ended in Riverhead at Maximum Motorsports. From the moment I walked in, I had the almost unheard of feeling of being valued both as an individual and as a customer. Well before anything was even mentioned about purchasing a motorcycle, I was greeted (but not smothered) by several friendly individuals, all of whom were extremely knowledgeable about the bike I was looking for, the eagerly anticipated Yamaha FZ-10. Having worked in various retail venues years ago, one of my pet peeves is that almost invariably, I know substantially more about a given product that I need further information about than the store representative does. In addition, it is clear that I am generally an order of magnitude more enthusiastic about a particular product than those typical individuals whose very livelihood depends on selling these products. Aside from the ubiquitous rudeness, inattention (or conversely, suffocation) normally encountered at motorcycle dealerships is the underlying and unmistakable vibe of seething hatred and malaise upon entering the establishment. One can feel the overwhelming disdain felt by employees about their coworkers, their employers, and yes without a shadow of a doubt, their customers. How often is seen and heard icy stares, muttering sotto voce, complaining, sales staff totally engrossed in their cell phones, talking while eating and launching food particles, ad infintum. What a breath of fresh air is to be found at Maximum Motorsports. The entire vibe is like nothing Ive felt before. People are smiling, courteous, respectful, pleasant to one another, and oddly enough, did not make me feel as though my very presence had just ruined their entire day. I had the distinct pleasure of first meeting Melody, a charming and effervescent woman who is not only a salesperson but also deals with financial matters at Maximum Motorsports. Her zest for the equipment, her job, and seemingly life itself was so readily apparent that it was capable of simply astonishing the uninitiated. Having been treated like a scourge at various dealerships, this was just remarkable to me. Rivaling this zeal was her knowledge of the bikes which again shocked me, not due to her gender, but due to the absolute inability of the typical salesperson to learn anything about their merchandise. Next I was greeted by John, the stores General Manager. Though I dealt mostly with Melody, he also projected a tremendous degree of professionalism, knowledge, genuine interest, and respect. It was approximately at this time that I expected my alarm clock to ring and realize that I was dreaming. To a lesser degree, I also had opportunity to speak to two other outstanding gentlemen, both sales persons, named Scott and Peter. Truly, one was even nicer than the other. They, both knowing full well that neither one was my salesperson, nevertheless engaged in friendly conversation, offered tremendous insight and personal experiences about motorcycles and riding, and were over the top in their willingness to assist. Even individuals who I did not meet formally behind the counter were unusually pleasant to each other, smiling and offering their assistance. Perhaps most shocking of all was the kind things heard about the owner of Maximum Motorsports. Though I did not meet him, employees described him as a real sweetheart. Clearly, this atypical atmosphere is simply not found elsewhere. I could wax poetic about the service, the great price, the photos they took of me and emailed me with my new FZ-10, but perhaps Ive conveyed at least to a small degree what can be routinely expected at Maximum Motorsports.

Melody at maximum moto is the best! She did everything she could do to get me riding ASAP. I didn't have to make multiple trips to the dealership either she was able to help me out over the phone. In no time she had everything ready for me to come in and she explained every piece of paperwork she put infront of me. Melody and the rest of the crew over there know what their doing. Defiantly a 5 out of 5 star experience and would defiantly deal with again, thanks again Mel!

I recently purchased a 2016 Triumph Bonneville T120, and the process was very smooth from start to finish. Melody, John and Scott were great to deal with, and they let me know whenever they had an update on the bike's build and delivery status - a real nice touch. I haven't had the bike serviced yet, but I get the sense that their service department is detail oriented and thorough.

I had my Kawasaki Ultra 300 repaired and they did a great job fixing it - no complaints from me! Got it fixed when they got the parts. John and the service team down there got it done for me. I wouldn't take my stuff anywhere else! Great mechanic! I am one very happy customer - the ski ran great.

Just pulled in to look around. Met Geoff and Andrew; very nice guys! Kept shopping on the internet and with different dealers, but I came back to Maximum because Geoff and I got along so well. It was perfect timing too because some traded in an '08 Kawasaki 900 LT that I looked at and bought in a 24hr period! Definitely recommend these guys and talking to Geoff if you have any questions.
